Sarah Dawood
Sarah is studying English at the University of Nottingham, but originally hails from North London. Not surprisingly then, Sarah likes to read, write and be argumentative and cynical about things.

She is a keen contributor and next year’s editor of the music section of her uni magazine “Impact” (check it out), and hopes to one day break into the cut-throat domain that is media journalism.
Sarah loves music with a fiery, clichéd passion, from many sides of the lovely music sphere, especially indie, reggae/ska, old school punk, all sorts of eighties fun and jazz and soul. Some of her favourite artists include The Smiths, The Cure, Bombay Bicycle Club, John Mayer, Mystery Jets, Dead or Alive, Blondie and Lagwagon.
In her spare time, Sarah wastes too much money on pub quiz machines; ‘ANYONE GOT 50p?! I’M FEELING LUCKY THIS TIME!’. She occasionally likes to play the piano, although reading two clefs of music at the same time makes her brain hurt. Sarah can also be spotted in ballet/ tap shoes, poorly attempting to imitate choreography, causing earthquakes and chaos. One day, Sarah hopes to have a successful and happy life. You will know she has failed if you see her busking on the Metropolitan Line with an inflatable guitar.
