Peter Cornish-Barlow

Peter Cornish-Barlow is a 26 year old music shop supervisor by day and world-renowned music blogger by night. Currently has his own blog called Sourmash Music Reviews and is constantly on the look out for new bands to obsess over. Favourite bands include Oasis, The Beatles, Biffy Clyro, Los Campesinos, Kids In Glass Houses, Funeral For A Friend and Kasabian just to name a few. New bands that recently have grabbed his attention include Peggy Sue, Alessi’s Ark, Chapter24, The Patio Set, Cha-Cha, Not Squares, Century Man and has a soft spot for McFly, yes thats correct! He says ‘Don’t knock it till you try it!’

Best gigs recently have been Mystery Jets playing new material, seeing Johnny Marr play with The Cribs last year in London and Futureheads at The Lexington, a few months before the release of The Chaos.
His current goal in life is educating his son in all things great in music. Joshua is 8 months old and really enjoys Amorphous Androgynous, so the education is going well then!
