Laura Gaga

Born and bred in London; studied Sociology at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Went on to complete another degree in Criminal Justice at Hertfordshire University and now work as a Probation Officer.

When not working I love to travel: my favourite hot spot would have to be New York. Have built up a bit of a reputation for missing flights although it normally seems to be on the way home!

Love a good gig and festival and can’t be without my music. Hate it when people say they like all sorts of music so I’ll say I like most music :=).

Seriously, my taste is pretty varied and my iPod includes funky house, Johnny Cash, Editors, The Prodigy, Jay Z, Joy Division, James Brown, Chase & Status, Hot Chip and I can’t lie – The Best of Bros is there too!!

What I love about music is that you can either be completely in the moment, car windows rolled down, bass pumping, car bouncing (sorry got carried away) or it takes you to a different time of girlie holidays, dodgy night outs, past loves or the times when you used to hang around outside Brian Harvey’s house (wish I could say I was joking). See, music even allows you to behave completely inappropriately and at times illegally at no other times is it acceptable to loiter outside hotels or catapult your bra in someone’s eye ;-)
