James Lavender
James Lavender is originally from deepest, darkest Derbyshire, but he did go to Keele University for four years, studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics and an MRes History degree. However, as well discovering the many wonders of history, he did find the joys of alternative music and writing.
Musical tastes include the classics; The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, The Eagles. Recent classics; The Clash, The Smiths, Echo And The Bunnymen, Blur and Oasis, as well as modern acts like Mumford & Sons and Fleet Foxes. Also, he does have unparalleled knowledge of Bob Marley because of the countless family trips in which Mr. Marley’s greatest hits were played on the car’s tape player.
