Alex Court

Dulwhich-born Alex Court studied Philosophy at University College Dublin before moving back to London to start a degree in International Journalism at City University in North London. He enjoys all kinds of music and is listening to Southern African tunes by Hlabelela as he writes this.

For Alex to really consider a band decent, they must have excellent lyrics. It is (partly) for this reason that Alex enjoys Death Cab for Cutie, Paul Simon, Ben Harper Xavier Rudd and The John Butler Trio. For other reasons he is big into Hilltop Hoods, Cut Copy and Dntel. The first single Alex ever bought was “hit me baby one more time” by Britney Spears! He isn.t ashamed by this choice, just confused.
