It’s a lo-fi, hazy affair with the debut album from Leeds-based The Diamond Sea. ‘Second Move’ is like a warm fuzzy feeling that just keeps on going and going and going. Fitting in with the other stoner pop bands of late – Best Coast, Avi Buffalo, Warpaint and so on – The Diamond Sea are creating wonderful-sounding music that doesn’t take a lot of thought to enjoy.
Their almost familiar drum crashing assault that had been present on their previous material, has now been replaced with some supa dupa synth heavy, Soulwax inspired magic
