Autoheart // Control // Out Now // Self Release // Free Download

Autoheart are a London Indie band, lead by soft-voiced Jody Gadsden. They were formerly called The Gadsdens, whos’ biggest hit was The Sailor Song, a piano – driven and shamelessly tender piece of Indie-pop. It was Q Mags’ song of the day and was played on Radio 2.

Control is from their forthcoming album and follows a similar formula to The Sailor Song, with carefully constructed melodies driven by a soft beat and beautifully topped together by Jodys’ voice, which reminds me of a more radio-friendly Anthony Johnson.

They are playing Camden Barfly on the 1st February, and like any good music journalist, I will be blagging myself guestlist.

Listen to  Control below.
