Mary Hampton Album Launch with Serafina Steer and Paper Cinema // October 16th

Submitted by on September 29, 2011 – 11:27 amNo Comment

On the 16th of October, God Don’t Like It and The Magpies Nest are proud to bring you the exclusive launch of Mary Hampton’s new album, “Folly”. The launch will take place at North London’s Cecil Sharp House, home of the English Folkdance and Song Society.

Performing with her Cotillion, including Alice Eldridge on cello, Seth Bennett on double bass, Jo Burke on fiddle and Alistair Strachan on horns and percussion, Mary will be playing tracks from her self-penned new album, due out later this year on Teaspoon Records.

In support will be harpist Serafina Steer and Paper Cinema, who combine hand-drawn puppets with live music to create a unique and magical show.

Tickets cost £8 in advance, and you can purchase them here.
