Sound Tracks Festival, a brand new independent one day multi-venue music festival, has been announced to take place on Saturday 17th September, along the East London line.

Sound Tracks Festival is a new music project celebrating the East London overground line in London, which – since its opening last year – now connects vibrant music areas with strong music identities such as Dalston, Shoreditch and New Cross.

Live music will take place from 7pm until 11pm in three main venues along the East London line: Cafe Oto in Dalston,Concrete in Shoreditch, and the Amersham Arms in New Cross. All venues are maximum 3 minutes walk from the stations. The party continue with DJ sets after the live acts.

Bands headlining the festival include abstract dance music innovator Fantastic Mr. Fox, rhythmic jazz quartet Shabaka & The Sons of Kemet, and energetic garage punk frontwoman Marina Gasolina, formerly of Baile Funk band Bonde do Role. Each venue will have 4 bands playing on the night. Other acts include Elan Tamara, Real Fur, Age Of Consent, a DJ set from Ghostpoet plus many more.

On top of that, there will be a Travelling Stage with musicians playing acoustic sets inside the overground trains during the evening of the festival, allowing festival goers (and commuters alike!) to have a musical journey while commuting from one venue to another.

The festival wristband costs £8.50 for Early Birds, and £12.50 once early birds are sold out. The festival wristband will give you access to the 3 main venues. The Travelling stage is Free so every overground users can enjoy a different journey and discover London’s new music talents.
