On Sunday, Hummingbird Vintage and our Editor’s Preloved Reloved charity fashion doodah are hosting a swishing party, run by Swish Pout to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Bring your unwanted clothes (in decent condition, of course) and join us at Bar Music Hall in Shoreditch this Sunday 8th May from 4pm til late. Entry is £2, to be donated to our chosen charity.

Kim be DJing , you can enjoy cupcakes, specially-selected swishing cocktails and retro styling, burlesque acts and have your retro photo taken.

Don’t know what a swishing party is?  Here are the rules:

1) Everyone must bring at least one item of quality clothing.
2) You will have half an hour to browse before the swish opens.
3) No item may be claimed before the swish opens.
4) As soon as the swish is declared open, everyone may take what they want.
5) Remember no scratching, spitting or fighting.

Doors will open at 4pm.
