John and Jehn // Interview // Offset Festival

Submitted by on September 8, 2010 – 12:00 pmNo Comment

Never Enough Notes grabbed a quick chat with London-based pop duo John and Jehn to hear their thoughts on festivals and what’s in store for them in the future.

Have you played at Offset before? How do you rate the festival?

No we haven’t. It’s a good festival. You got a lot of new young bands which is always good. You had all the different styles of music in rock’n'roll, I saw old-school metal, hardcore, folk… the dance tent looked pretty empty…

What is your favourite festival which you have played? How do UK festivals differ from European festivals? Which do you prefer?

Our favorite with no hesitation is ‘Tan Hill’, curated by our friends British Sea Power. It takes place in the highest pub in England. It’s the coolest festival we’ve done so far. UK festival = rain and 25 to 30 mins set, European festival = sun and longer sets.

What’s next on the horizon for John and Jehn?

An ocean of new songs!

John and Jehn play the Luminaire in Kilburn, London, tonight.
