ABE VIGODA // Free track, London headline show and more!

Submitted by on July 20, 2010 – 11:51 amNo Comment

With their third album “Crush” due for release 20th September on Bella Union , Abe Vigoda have announced three UK live dates for October, headlining Cargo in London and Audio in Brighton before returning to London to No Age as special guests at XOYO:

The dates are as follows.

Tuesday 12 October – LONDON – Cargo (£8)

Wednesday 13 October – BRIGHTON – Audio (£8)

Thursday 14 October – LONDON – XOYO (with No Age)

2006’s debut Kid City which was followed in 2008 with  tropical-punk “Skeleton”, demonstrate that Abe Vigoda can change their sound. To Skeleton’s hot-hot-hot template, they now add sharp cold wave pop, with synthesisers, sequencers and broodier beats. From the pell-mell pop of ‘Sequins’ to the New Romantic crush of ‘Throwing Shade’ and the title track’s MBV scree, “Crush” is set to be wonderous!
