Standon Calling is hosted in the rolling Hertfordshire countryside, surrounding a 16th century manor house which provides the stunning backdrop for a stage that has hosted the likes of: Super Furry Animals, Florence & The Machine, Femi Kuti, Mr Hudson, Mumford and Sons, Friendly Fires, Paloma Faith and Ladytron to name just a few.

On top of the premier line up still to be announced, Standon Calling also plays host to an array of quirky performances from an underwater disco in the manor houses’ swimming pool to ultra eco friendly compost toilets and with the finest attention to festival site art work Standon Calling is truly a unique festival, setting itself apart from all the rest with its friendly atmosphere, sterling line up and ethical values.

About the Standon Calling phenomenon…

Standon Calling’s conception came as birthday party for founder Alex Trenchard who wanted to create an intimate weekend of ultimate fun for his friends. Standon grew solely by word of mouth and now people come from all over the UK for its friendly atmosphere and astounding line up.

The festival is a not-for-profit event that raises money for Phoenix Futures; a charity who support victims of drug and alcohol abuse across the UK.
