 MySpace: Angus & Julia Stone

After time away from touring, festivals, and the usual months spent tinkering in recording studios, Angus & Julia Stone are back with another soulful and swooning album due for release in March 2010. The album, Down The Way, is sure to be another impressive collection of acoustic folk creations, and is preceded by initial single ‘And The Boys’.

Co-produced by Brad Albetta (Martha Wainwright), ‘And The Boys’ utilises Julia Stone’s crooning bohemian vocals, and when paired with the driving drum beats and meandering bass lines found on this single, you can’t help but tap your feet, click your fingers, and sing-along to yet another catchy but amazingly beautiful creation from this Australian folk duo.

Although not drastically different in style to previous singles from this charming double act, their style of dancing harmonies, and note perfect acoustic riffs doesn’t seem to get old. This single, if only proving one thing, shows exactly why they have built up such a dedicated following, and are certainly destined for bigger things.

It’s not released for eons yet, but we’ve let you have a sneak peek of the video here:

They’re set to tour in April.
