Never Enough Notes is an e-zine dedicated to lovely music news, discoveries, reviews, festivals, gigs and events. With a fantastically-diverse editorial team at the centre of our success, we aim to bring you a variety of recommendations, free music, exclusives, fun and even the odd competition!
We launched in the summer of 2009 after too much Pimms and here we are today. In 2010 and 2011, Never Enough Notes was nominated for Best Digital Publication at The Record Of The Day Awards and also Best Blog at the BT Digital Music awards. All of our writers love what they do and do what they love. Some of them are the best in their field, and write for various other online publications of repute.
We cover anything from an unsigned artist in a backstreet pub in Glasgow, fab venues in East London, to decent bands in arena venues. We occasionally take the piss. We released a charity compilation album in February 2010, and hosted a stage at the influential music conference South By Southwest in Austin, Texas. We have an awesome podcast and we regularly contribute to BBC 6Music.
We've also held charity events at London's Camden Head and The Slaughtered Lamb, and keenly support various not-for-profit organisations.
