They’ve only gone and done it again. Latitude, that glorious festival, have just won Line Up of the Year at the UK Festival awards and are looking to repeat last year’s roaring success, judging by the new additions to their line up. A whole host of brand new acts have been added to the bill for this year’s Latitude 2014 weekend, taking place Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July.

Alongside already announced headliners Damon Albarn and Two Door Cinema Club are some bands to really get excited about. The main highlight (for us at least!) are the additions of Bombay Bicycle Club, Tame Impala and First Aid Kit to an already bursting line up. But, to be honest, we are pretty excited about the whole lot!

Fresh acts announced include Slowdice, Agnes Obel, East Indie Youth, Scroobius Pip and Jungle. Let’s not over look the legendary Daryl Hall & John Oates. That’s right, Hall & Oates! Doesn’t that line up make you excited all ready?!

Don’t forget, this year festival theme is Secrets and Lies. The theme follows on from last year’s hugely successful Neuroscience Vs Sex theme, allowing the exploration of ideas that define our lives in the 2010s, which this year focuses on the often troublesome relationships between our private and public lives. Latitude is certainly more than your average music festival! At Latitude 2014, the theme will be carefully curated between the arts arenas, allowing us to experience the performances from some of the world’s leading artists from the worlds of art, theatre, poetry, comedy, music and much more.
