Anyone who had been avidly waiting announcements for this years Download Festival is probably aware of the main headliners by now, and fully aware of the fact that the mighty Linkin Park are doing a Download exclusive and playing their hugely successful ‘Hybrid Theory’ album in full! In case you need to know who else is playing we are giving you a quick round up before the next wave of bands are announced next year, which will hopefully include those all important second stage headliners.

Headliners for the 2014 rock-fest are Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith and this lot, who were added to the bill only last week:

Added to the Download 2014 bill: Volbeat, SikTh, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicide Silence, Buckcherry, Memphis May Fire,Battlecross, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, Thy Art Is Murder, The Amity Affliction, Avatar, Lonely the Brave, Arcane Roots and Feed the Rhino.

Download organisers have also given us the heads up with your ticket option as there are only 9 days left for you to enter into the deposit scheme. Head over to the official website for the full details:

“The ticket deposit scheme is back for 2014! This is a great way to reserve your ticket/s with a deposit and then make two further payments next year to pay off the remaining balance. It’s only going to be available on purchases made in 2013, so don’t miss out!

The initial payment is made now, then two further payments taken at later dates.”

Download 2014 will take place from the 13th June to the 15th at Donington Park and will be the 11th year the festival has taken place. A festival which sees 90,000 music lovers ascend to hear a variety of both rock and metal music across 3 days and 5 stages.
