After a summer of festivals and an Autumn spent on Paramore’s UK Arena tour (at Hayley’s request no less!), Eliza and the Bear make a most welcome return with ‘It Gets Cold’.
Premiering on Radio 1 as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’, this brand new track from the band showcases big melodies and undeniable energy – two qualities the band’s growing fan base are well-accustomed to following the release of their Summer single ‘Friends’, which gained early fans in Radio 1’s Zane Lowe and Sara Cox. Like ‘Friends’ this new release even adds some brass for good measure to a guitar-driven backdrop that rings with a folk sensibility.
In the words of lead singer James Kellegher: “It Gets Cold is about returning back home after an inconceivable amount of time. It’s about the things you will miss being away from home and the moments in time you miss whilst at home reminiscing. Its about the romanticism of memories.”

The band are a force to be reckoned with on stage too, recently supporting Imagine Dragons at Brixton Academy and headlining The Garage for their final show of the year. They’ve just announced they will be touring with Luke Sital-Singh, Farewell J.R and Annie Eve on the New Faces tour with Communion in February and March next year.
