Kodaline’s next single ‘Brand New Day’ will be out August 26th and they’ve also announced a new London show at The Forum on November 12th. The track is the fourth single to be taken from their critically-acclaimed, number 3 charting debut album ‘In A Perfect World’, following the release of previous singles ‘All I Want’, ’High Hopes’ and ’Love Like This’. The track is already a firm live favourite with a rapidly increasing fanbase, as witnessed last weekend at Glastonbury where the band played to a packed-out John Peel Stage.
Kodaline told The Independent in an interview “There’s a song on the album called ‘Brand New Day’ and it’s about wanting to make a life outside of your home town. Not because you don’t like it but just because it’s not healthy to see and do the same thing your whole life. Each to their own but I think new experiences are good”.
The band, having already announced details of their largest UK tour to date set to take place in November, have now added a second London show to the tour at The Forum on Tuesday 12th November. Kodaline will also be playing T In The Park (13th July) and the Reading and Leeds festivals (23rd and 24th August respectively) this summer, having already appeared at The Great Escape, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and the Glastonbury Festival.
