Sister festival to Cheltenham’s 200trees, the inaugural ArcTangent (Bristol) will take place this August 29-31. The people behind Gloucestershire’s best music events this year launch a whole new kind of offering, bringing 65 Days Of Static, Fuck Buttons, Bo Ningen, And So I Watch You From Afar, Public Service Broadcasting and many more totalling 80 bands to four different stages.

With a 5,000 capacity ArcTanGent mixes boutique with a pleasant melange of math rock, alternative and experimental bands over a 3-day weekender on a farm near Bristol. You can also expect some tip-top local food and drink (yay, cider!), a silent disco (uncomplete without!), some genuine support for the burdgeoning local Bath-Bristol scene and lots besides.
