We’re well chuffed to bring you Glass Animals’ video for new track ‘Black Mambo’.

Directed by Harry Reavley and Cosmo Feilding Mellen, the video was shot at Beckley Park, the Oxfordshire stately home of renowned artist, scientist and drug policy reformer, Countess Amanda Fielding. ‘Black Mambo’ is taken from Glass Animals’ forthcoming self-produced AA-sided single ‘Black Mambo/Exxus’. The single will be released on 1st July 2013 and will be the first release on Paul Epworth’s new label, Wolf Tone.

Since the release of their debut ‘Leaflings’ EP in 2012, Glass Animals have been holed up in their makeshift studio in the heart of the Oxfordshire forest, writing and recording new material. The natural isolation of their environment informs Glass Animals’ sound, which sees them layering haunting vocals over warming narcotic beats and slow-burning rhythms.

Glass Animals will also be performing live throughout the summer, including their biggest headline show to date at London’s Electrowerkz on 19th June. These dates follow a sold out London show at Birthday’s earlier in the year, as well as support slots with Chromatics and Yeasayer and debut European appearances at the Midi, Primavera Nights and Reeperbahn festivals.

The full dates are:
5th June Berghain, Berlin, Germany
18th June La Fleche d’Or, Paris, France
19th June Electrowerkz, London, UK
20th June Louisiana, Bristol, UK
21st June Trof Fallowfield, Manchester
18th July Melt Festival, Germany
2nd August Off Festival, Poland
