With a line-up so far boasting Empire of The Sun (UK festival exclusive), Noah and the Whale, Rodriguez, Michael Kiwanuka, Tom Odell, Ghostpoet, Tribes, Matt Corby, Lucy Rose, King Krule, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Eliza and the Bear, plus The London Folk Guild and Yellow Lounge, Wilderness is set to be an awesome weekend of discovery in the lovely Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire.
Wilderness is brought to you by MAMA (Global Gathering, Lovebox, The Great Escape and a whole load of renowned UK venues) and Secret Productions (Secret Garden Party). In addition to this vast line-up you can expect long table banquets, Sam & Sam Clarke’s Moro Souk Tent, Thyme Cookery School, and Theatre de Rue & Cirque Traditionnel presented by Time Out Live.
Les Pepones will perform their after dark flying trapeze show and Secret Garden Party present a whole host of parties into the night including a masked ball. Shakespeare’s Globe present Red Not Dead, and there’ll be debates and encampments where you can get your geek on with Oxford University Astrophysics Dept, The Royal Observatory, Singalong-AWickerman, Shamanic Street Preachers, Charles Dickens Museum, Oxford Museum of Natural History, Oxford Museum of the History of Science, and others too.
When you’re all partied out and clevered up, you can pop to one of the on-site wellbeing areas: The Sanctuary, a forest walk, or even learn some bushcraft. It’s quite the contender for the boutique arts festival and has rightly won awards for being so!
