Recorded between Cambridge, Ireland, and Australia, the ‘Health’ EP came about when front man Nick Rayner returned to Cambridge, for what he regarded as some “much needed time to be alone”. The resulting record is a collection of emotive songs that grow from sparse guitar picked melodies that recall early days Bon Iver, through to grand melodies and orchestral arrangements more reminiscent of Arcade Fire.

Another of the EP’s stand out tracks, ‘Night Wolves’ is currently available for free download on SoundCloud here whilst a video video for the track which is available to watch online here.
Following on from the release of ‘Health’ and the Maps & Atlases support tour, Farewell J.R. plays a headline show at St Pancras Old Church on 21 March (tickets here).
