Deap Vally are Lindsey Troy (Vocals, Guitar) and Julie Edwards (Drums, Vocals), a LA duo who recently completed UK and European dates as guests of The Vaccines and Muse and are now set to embark on a host of dates of their own across the UK including the NME Awards show at Brixton Academy with The Cribs and And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead.

Their sound is described as the breaking down of blues to its simplest, most fundamental form: beat, melody, and meaning, whilst their  live shows are fast becoming the stuff of legend. Between tour dates, the band are hard at work on tracks for a debut album, to be released  on Island Records / Communion later on in 2013.

Their new single ‘Lies’ will be released as 7” single and download b/w ‘EZ Cum’ on the 25th February and, like all the band’s output to date – from first demos to their upcoming debut album – has been produced by Lars Stelfors (The Mars Volta). To celebrate the release Deap Vally will play a headline show at London Dingwalls on the 26th.
