Let’s Go Safari is an electro-infused indie pop quartet from Poole, UK, borne from mutual postcode-sharing and a desire to delete every note their previous musical experiment ever played.
They're dead chuffed to be releasing their second single 'BYOB' today, Monday 20th August, with it being a perfect track to your weekend.
Threading electro-infused indie pop with everyday experiences from life in Poole on the south coast of the UK, the original duo are Clive Coats and Ryan Wood. Formed in August 2010, the band have recently expanded to bring in Oli Crisp on bass and James Mosley on drums, for a fuller sound. The band have a unique edge, merging guitar-driven indie-pop with crisp harmonies and quirky synthesizers; Let’s Go Safari write simple, catchy songs in a frighteningly complex way.
Today's giveaway is a remix by Canadian, Your Pretend Boyfriend, who has given previous single 'Oh, Jane Doe' the glitchgaze treatment and turned it into an electro beauty of his very own.

London-based noise-popniks Infants are giving away their new single 'Buddy Island' as a free download. The scuzzed up, Enon-meets-Deerhoof blast of a track is for you to get below. Infants present their fully-realised, long-delayed debut album 'Giant Leg'. Championed by the likes of The Stool Pigeon, Village Voice, Huw Stephens and John Kennedy, Infants are a multi-national, multi-limbed phenomenon, casually taking cues from no wave, noise rock, post-punk and electronica with wild abandon.
Buddy is taken from the album Giant Leg, which is out on 27th August via Tigertrap Records.
