All festivals are labours of love, but Nozstock, Herefordshire’s best-kept secret, has benefited from particularly high levels of love and commitment. Starting life as a tiny party, it has since blossomed into a hugely lively, eclectic, professional, colourful event, and provides the ideal antidote to the vacuum-packed corporate excesses of other festivals.

Nestled in the beautiful countryside near Bromyard, Herefordshire, Nozstock features a wildly diverse line-up of performance art, comedy, strumming, drumming and full-fat whomp. Confirmed acts for 2011 include the varied likes of The Jim Jones Revue, Foreign Beggars, The Wurzels, The Correspondents, Laid Blak, Andy C and Jazzsteppa. The shiny folk from Tribe of Frog will once again be conjuring up the most psychedelic of grottos for the fairies and elvies amongst you, and there will be the usual assortment of workshops, stalls and top-quality grub.

The best bit? Nozstock really want you to come, so they have taken the unprecedented move of freezing prices for this year’s festival. This means that you will get a fantastic weekend with oodles of brilliant music for just £75! That’s half the price of a ticket to a festival like Secret Garden Party. Head to the website here for more information, and we hope to see you in the country!
